Product information

The voice of this guitar is surprisingly airy, given its size and construction.

The Atkin ADJ38 pays homage to the Advanced Jumbo popularized as an alternative to the square-shouldered dreadnoughts of the late 1930's. Its 25 1/2" scale & slope-shouldered design make it a very punchy, powerful guitar with enough low-end power for a bluegrass rhythm player and a unique midrange focus that lends itself beautifully to vocal accompaniment.

The voice of this guitar is surprisingly airy, given its size and construction. It's a terrific multi-use guitar, and sounds as at home under a flatpick as it does under metal fingerpicks. The look is handsome & arresting as well; and we applaud Atkin's use of a lightly aged lacquer finish (not only does it give the guitar a vibe, it allows it to resonate more freely as well). Priced with TKL hard case.
