Take Beard's signature E body, soften those edges, lighten up the construction and revoice the instrument with a mind towards acoustic players, and the result is one of the most compelling, enjoyable, and distinctive new resophonic guitars we've heard in years. The tone is very warm, rich, far better balanced and less midrange-focused than most resonators.

For this first Trailhead, we asked Beard to build it as a full body axe, i.e. no cutaway, the same as their squareneck version. It looks outstanding in Beard's very attractive, satin, Tobacco finish.
