Product information

This L-36 is Atkin's take on a late-1930's L-body guitar. With a torrefied Sitka Spruce top & Mahogany body, this guitar exhibits fantastic presence and tonal complexity. It's super-punchy when flatpicked, and shimmers ethereally when fingerpicked, producing the kind of tone some might think was coming from a guitar twice its price!

We also admire Atkin's embrace of an aged finish. At the end of the day, what's more important -- being able to see your reflection in a guitar's finish, or being inspired by its sound when you pick it up? Vibe. Tone. Playability. If you want it all, produced with the expertise of a boutique-level workshop, we suggest giving an Atkin serious consideration. Priced with the builder's own hard case, made by TKL.
