This Atkin 00037 Deluxe features pearl top trim, a bound fingerboard, and snowflake-and-diamond inlays -- a tasteful riff on the dressed-up "Style 41" guitars favored by players interested in just a hint of bling. You may forget about the enhanced trim a minute after strumming your first chord on the guitar, however, because it sounds down right amazing. Lush, powerful, and focused all at once, it's beautifully articulate (without being bright) as rosewood guitars go. Digging in a bit with a flatpick reveals another level of complexity and beauty; and the note attack is round and broken-in feeling.
