Brondel Honeycaster Hybrid Sherwood Green (USED, 2025)
S-Style · Single Coils Pickups · Used
If you've ever wondered what it would like to have the comfort, playability, and versatility of a great S-style guitar paired with the unbeatable tone of a telecaster bridge pickup, this Honeycaster Hybrid will knock your socks off.
This gently used Honeycaster Hybrid is a model we're quite familiar with, having had a few of these come through the shop over the last few years. However, each Honeycaster that we see has a distinct personality the same way many of Laurent's acoustic builds do.This particular Honeycaster hits on some of the key features of mid and late '50s Fenders. A one-piece Torrefied Birdseye Maple neck with a soft V neck profile feels nice and full in hand, and the well-contoured lightweight Alder body is comfortable with great balance. The Ron Ellis pickups in this guitar straddle the line between late '50s on the Strat side, and early '50s on the tele side - a devastating combination, really. The Broadcaster bridge pickup is full sounding and ripe with great midrange attack (great for Rock, Americana, Country, and Blues), while the middle and neck pickups have that classic woodiness and chirp that an old Strat often delivers.
Laurent pairs this Honeycaster with a beautiful custom G&G hardshell case that bears his elegant logo stitched on the inside. It's a testament to the consistency in quality and class that made us forever fans of his work.
