The Two-Rock Burnside is a modern tribute to the legendary wide-panel tweed circuit, delivering the dynamic touch sensitivity of a vintage tweed amp with the clarity and refinement that define Two-Rock’s approach to tone. It’s everything we love about classic low-wattage tweeds—responsive, harmonically rich, and incredibly fun to play—but with the reliability and performance of a meticulously built, boutique amplifier.

At its heart, the Burnside runs on a pair of 6L6s pushing 28 watts, with a GZ34 tube rectifier and a 12AY7 in the preamp (which can be swapped for a 12AX7 for more gain). The simple yet highly interactive control layout features a Bright switch, Volume, Treble, Bass, and Presence, all of which work together in a way that makes dialing in tones incredibly intuitive.

Like a great old tweed amp, the gain is as much about touch as it is about settings—dig in, and it growls; lighten up, and it cleans right up. Cranking the bass control unleashes that thick low-end response that makes tweeds so addictive. This is the sort of amp that really teaches you how to use your guitar's volume and tone controls to achieve the tone(s) your after.

A passive effects loop and multiple speaker outputs (4, 8, and 16 ohms) allows you to fold in your fave reverb or delay, while the compact chassis (finished in bronze with cream lettering) adds a beautiful refined-yet-understated look. To push the vintage vibe even further, Two-Rock has moved from birch to pine cabinets, enhancing resonance and attack.
