The Taylor 812CE is an updated version of one of their best sounding and most comfortable guitars.

Newly redesigned for 2026, the Taylor 812CE Next Generation adds Scalloped V-Class bracing, a completely redesigned pickup, and the Action Control Neck to their flagship model.

The brand new Taylor designed Claria pickup relocates the controls to just inside the sound hole. The pickup sounds great and its low profile aesthetic is elegant and easy to use. The Action Control Neck allows for easy adjustment of the neck angle that allows for simple, easily performed, adjustments.

The classic tonewood combination of Indian rosewood and Sitka spruce still delivers its characteristic blend of warmth, low-end presence and high-range sparkle elevated by scalloped V-Class bracing. Notes sustain longer, allowing rosewood’s rich overtones to bloom with more clarity than ever, and the new scalloped V-Class bracing gives the guitar a more open sound with greater low end heft.

The 812CE remains beautifully appointed with an Arm Bevel, Venetian Cutaway, and 800 series appointments. The slightly smaller Grand Concert body is incredible comfortable to sit with and helps make this one of our most popular Taylor models.
