Product information

This L36 "Reserve" is Atkin's upgraded take on a 1930's L-body guitar. With a torrefied Adirondack Spruce top & Honduran Mahogany body (in place of the standard Sitka Spruce and Khaya Mahogany), this guitar exhibits a noticeable uptick in presence and tonal complexity. It's super-punchy when flatpicked, and shimmers ethereally when fingerpicked, producing the kind of tone some might think was coming from a guitar twice its price!

We love Atkin's embrace of an aged finish. At the end of the day, what's more important -- being able to see your reflection in a guitar's finish, or being inspired by its sound when you pick it up? And it looks amazing on the black top finish seen on this guitar. Priced with the builder's own hard case, made by TKL.
