This 12" Cherry Rambler Dobson has a removable Dobson tone ring that has great sustain with a percussive attack some would describe as "cluck."The Dobson tone ring is easily removable if you want to vary your sound, and without the Dobson ring installed the sound is bit warmer with a quicker decay on the note.
The spunover rim is an incredible value in this price range and adds clarity and sustain - with a touch of aesthetic elegance - to the overall sound.
