The Martin Custom Shop 000-28K 1921 adds a fingerstyle player's dream companion to the "Custom Expert" lineup. For the uninitiated, these are guitars constructed on Martin's Authentic build platform with the addition of an adjustable truss rod.
The Custom Shop 000-28K 1921 features a gorgeous, old-world aesthetic: the beautifully figured Koa, fine herringbone top purfling, short diamonds & squares inlay pattern, and under-the-vintage-gloss-finish pickguard make for a timeless look that's a perfect compliment to the guitar's warm voice.
Fingerpickers in search of fundamental roundness of sound and a little extra room to maneuver need look no further. Although the top of this guitar is Koa, it's braced with VTS Adirondack Spruce, which provides a responsive playing experience and seems to give the guitar an ethereal built-in reverby quality. It stands up well to light flat picking, although its very design seems to invite a more measured approach to the instrument.
This wonderful-sounding guitar is limited to 50 total instruments worldwide. Priced with a 5-ply Martin hardshell case.

Inspect it, play it, and if it isn't right, contact us within 48 hours of delivery to arrange a return or one-time exchange. Returns are subject to a 5% restocking fee, and the buyer covers shipping both ways.
