Product information

A superbly voiced dreadnought with tons of power, that coveted dry woody tone and a responsiveness that's hard to find in a modern guitar.

Talk with any Martin Guitar historian or collector and they'll agree that the Golden year for D-28s was 1937. The D-28 Authentic 1937 is a faithful homage to that classic dreadnought complete with Adirondack spruce top and forward-shifted, hand-scalloped x-bracing. In place of Brazilian rosewood, Martin is now using Guatemalan rosewood to help capture the strength and brilliance of those earlier guitars.

The result is a superbly voiced dreadnought with tons of power, that coveted dry woody tone and a responsiveness that's hard to find in a modern guitar. Priced with Harptone-style hardshell case from Martin.
