We’re honored to debut the first three guitars from Don Grosh’s exciting new Roasted Pine Series. Crafted from a carefully selected stash of roasted pine, these guitars are a testament to Don’s ingenuity and skill – a bold new direction that delivers stunning results.This series also introduces Don’s Timeworn finish, now available on all Grosh guitars. True to his reputation for flawless attention to detail, the aging is subtle yet effective, adding a beautifully broken-in feel to his already exceptional builds. It’s the perfect blend of meticulous craftsmanship and vintage-inspired comfort.
The roasted pine bodies in this series bring a distinctive tonal character, delivering an airy, chimey quality reminiscent of early ’50s Fenders. Less compressed and more open, these guitars have a feel that’s simply addictive. Combined with Don’s in-house wound pickups and versatile wiring – including a push/pull tone control for splitting the humbucker and a blend control – the NOS Retro achieves a dynamic and inspiring tonal palette.
