This Essential D is Atkin's take on the revered D-18 and they've really carved out a comfortable niche with this one. It has the general flavor and texture of a Martin with the precision and clarity of a Collings. It's a refreshing combination that offers a unique tonal pallet that we don't hear in other traditional lines. Kudos to the folks at Atkin for staying original in a very crowded field.
