Heatley Parisienne Ruby Red (USED)
LP-Style · P90s Pickups · Used
Nobody does sparkle finishes like British Columbia-based master luthier, Scott Heatley.
The depth of the sparkle is simply remarkable and has to be seen in person to fully appreciate (do not look directly into the sparkle!). It's not just about adding bling, there's an artfulness to Scott's take on this classic finish which elevates it to another level entirely.Coming in at 7lbs 6oz, this guitar is exceptionally resonant and alive. The lightweight mahogany body (w/maple cap) and mahogany neck set the foundation for a pair of killer Wolfetone P90s that provide all of the great clarity, snap, and growl one would expect from this style of pickup. A single volume and tone circuit with a 3-way switch keeps things simple and familiar, and the lightweight Heatley aluminum wraparound bridge is incredibly well engineered. Playability is absolutely top notch, with an exceptionally carved full C neck (think '59 LP-ish), 1 11/16” nut width, medium jumbo frets, and a beautiful rosewood fingerboard with celluloid block inlays. And the headstock overlay - we dare you to find a cooler one! A tortoise H logo with a tortoise chevron is set against an ivoroid headstock veneer, giving the perfect nod to those classic catalogue guitars of the 50s and 60s we know and love. Amazing stuff, folks!
PLEASE NOTE: This guitar has a finish check on the back and a small check on the side and has been priced accordingly.
