Product information

While C.F. Martin's classical guitars may not be the first thing that comes to mind when a performing classical musician starts looking for a new instrument, they fill an interesting niche for traditional steel-string players looking to add a nylon-string to their collection. This 1963 000-28C comes to us from the family of its original owner; and it has spent much of the past couple decades in a case. The sound is big and robust, with plenty of presence for a singer who wants to use it to accompany their voice. What's more, it's a bona-fide old-factory Martin, featuring gorgeous Brazilian Rosewood and a thick, meaty response.

We rate this guitar in very good vintage condition. There are old crack repairs on the back and bridge. These areas are perfectly stable, and our shop has left them alone. The guitar's setup and finish remain lovely--this is a very playable instrument for any guitarist used to a conventional steel-string setup. Price includes the guitar's original hard case, which is also in great condition.
