One of our most favorite offset electric guitars in history continues to impress us with every batch we get here at TME. It's a testament to Trevor & Co.'s unwavering dedication to building a reliable, consistent, and inspiring guitar that has a distinct personality.

Healers seem to be so adaptive to different configurations without every losing their identity. That's hard to do in the seemingly endless landscape of electric guitar design, yet it feels effortlessly woven into every Healy build. Trevor would argue the effort part, surely, but that's why these guitars are just so darn great.

Chambered Roasted Pine and beautiful Roasted Maple make up the body and neck, respectively, with a custom spec set of Gemini P90-sized humbuckers and a Rutters chopped t-style bridge rounding out the hardware and electronics. The bolt-on neck and long scale might start pulling you into a Jazzmaster headspace, but the Healer somehow seems more relaxed and forgiving in the best of ways. It's got a snappy response, but there's a warmth and woodiness to its acoustic voice that makes it quite unique, too.

The Healer's comfortable C neck profile feels very familiar at this point, which highlights a level of consistency and intention on his part to establish an identity when it comes to the playability of these guitars. The moderate taper and rounded shoulders give the player the feeling of a neck more substantial than a set of calipers might tell you, yet it plays so smoothly.

It's one of those instances (well, more than one at this point) where the guitar is just so dialed in that you start to forget about technical specs and focus on playing. We could all benefit from that mentality!

This Healer was intended to be a custom order that ended up finding its way to us. Although we're technically listed it as "used", it's closer to NOS than anything else. Incredibly clean with hardly any wear to speak of, particularly in the finish.
