Gibson L-50 (1934)
Vintage
This 1934 L-50's classic red-Mahogany sunburst finish retains its original luster; and it's only been warmed by the threads of time.
This insanely charming 1934 Gibson L-50 has just arrived for consignment! In the small-bodied archtop niche, Gibsons don't get any more attractive than this one. Its structure is entirely original, with a recent refret by Folkway Music. The classic red-Mahogany sunburst finish retains its original luster; and it's only been warmed by the threads of time. The voice of the guitar is round, thick, and ultra-present ~ a perfect choice for the lead guitar player operating in a duo context accompanying a large-bodied flattop. To complete the package, the instrument is accompanied by its original hard case (also in excellent condition), which includes the original bill of sale! A highly collectible guitar, with beautiful tone and playability.| Top | Carved Spruce |
