Product information

This beautiful, small-'Burst 1933 Gibson L-00 was recently acquired from the collection of a long-time client. Its lightweight build & solid linings make it a joy to play. Responsiveness? Bloom? Dry, woody clarity? This guitar has it all. While these aren't the sorts of guitars that seem like they want to be hammered with a flatpick, this instrument responds powerfully to a nuanced approach a la Scott Nygaard. And we likey don't need to extoll its virtues as a fingerpicking and / or vocal accompaniment guitar. You'll want for nothing if that's your chosen lane. Combine these virtues with a beautifully carved, soft "V" neck profile, and you've got the recipe for that vintage guitar hypnosis which has overtaken so many eager volunteers.

This great little guitar is in original condition except for replaced tuner buttons and bridge pins. There is ample "honest play wear" (i.e. this is a guitar has been played, not stored in an art niche) across its surfaces. Please see our photo gallery for close up pictures of the aforementioned wear. Our shop has thoroughly inspected the guitar and given it a new setup. It's ready to go, and requires no further work at this time. The action measures 3/32" (bass side) and 2/32" (treble side) under tension of light gauge strings. Price includes non-original hard case.
