A great mandola will shift your perspective, breathe new life into your existing repertoire and offer new, rich depths to explore. Dry, warm, full, and tonally expansive, this one's got it all. Just when you thought you didn't "need" a mandola, you stumble upon this earthy, warm, cherry bomb of an instrument, and suddenly your mandolin seems a little smaller, brighter, by comparison. Because it is. Yes, H-4's neck is bigger, yes, that scale length is a little longer, but it remains a super slinky, easy-playing instrument. The tonal reward for that slightly longer reach is massive.

A great instrument will take you somewhere new, reinvigorate your playing. This H-4, with its big, open low-register chord voicings, uber-fat single notes, and a deliciously long sustain, demands a slower, more contemplative musical approach, and rewards the player with the ears and heart to follow its lead.

Priced with its original shaped hard case.
