Fender Telecaster, Blonde (1969)
T-Style · SS (2 Single Coils) Pickups · Vintage
As far as late 60s Fenders go, this Tele ranks high in our growing list of Golden Era electrics. Its light weight, great neck feel, and classic tele tone with great output and response make it any easier choice for someone who yearns for a vintage Fender at a great pricepoint. This guitar is largely original save for a replaced wiring harness (the original harness is included!) and a well-done refret. The finish shows some natural play wear in the forearm area along with various scuffs, nicks, and dings commensurate with age. All hardware is original as is the 3-ply pickguard that has the pearloid backing often seen from Fenders throughout 1968-1969.
Though many Teles from this period are often sporting all-Maple necks, the Rosewood fingerboard combined with the Blonde Ash body gives it more of that transitional late 50s / early 60s look we're all huge fans of here. It's a looker for sure!
The guitar is accompanied by its original hardshell case which is in nice overall condition.
