This LTD Custom Shop 1959 Jazzmaster has the vibe of a lucky vintage find—well-preserved, but with a few stories to tell.
This sleek two-piece select ash body, finished in a rich Chocolate 3-Color Sunburst, wears a Journeyman Relic treatment that tells the story of a guitar with history. The Journeyman relic process captures the essence of a well-loved instrument—one that’s spent most of its time in the hands of players at home, with occasional outings to jam sessions and weekend gigs.The rift-sawn maple neck features a comfortable '62-style Jazzmaster profile (think Oval C), complemented by a 7 1/4" - 9 1/2" compound radius rosewood fingerboard (flat laminate) with 21 narrow tall frets and a bone nut for effortless playability. To dial up the vintage vibe, it’s fitted with a single-ply gold anodized aluminum pickguard—an early Jazzmaster hallmark—paired with two Custom Shop hand-wound '62 Jazzmaster pickups. The vintage dual-circuit wiring (lead/rhythm) is enhanced with a modern touch: 250k volume and tone pots, giving you even more tonal control and versatility.
