This 1964 Epiphone Texan is a wonderful-sounding example of the model well-suited to a player in search of a great recording guitar. It packs a substantially more powerful punch than one might expect; and its woody, crisp midrange is a perfect fit for a singer-songwriter who wants a present-sounding guitar that won't eclipse a delicate vocal.

If tone is your first priority, this Texan gets TME's highest marks!

The guitar shows a small amount of finish touch-up near the treble edge of the soundhole (please see our photos). Replacement Grover Rotomatic tuners were also installed long ago. The inside of the guitar is very clean, and all the original components are present and undisturbed.

Our shop has inspected the entire guitar and given it a fresh setup. It's ready to go for its next owner, with no issues. Price includes a vintage Guild hard case (also in very good condition).
