Collings' brilliant, modern take on the teardrop, oval hole A mandolin. Bright, full, with substantial low mids and great sustain—a perfect cross between an MT2 and a 'teens A model.
With a full, round voice, springy response and plenty of sustain, the Collings MT2-O offers modern playability and tonal complexity, while retaining the open woodiness we love from old 'teens oval hole mandolins. This particularly stunning take on the MT2-O recipe features a gloss black top, and sunburst back and sides--this one is about as classy as they come! Priced with TKL hardshell case.
