Building under the name Carolina Banjo Company, Ryan Navey makes gorgeous handmade banjos, the sound and style of which channel a bygone era. His instruments add some welcome diversity to our banjo inventory, offering a phenomenal instrument for anyone interested in a warmer, Roundpeak-style, old-time voice.Made from walnut and finished in a rich blue-grey milk paint, this Keepsake 12" model has the look and patina of a much older banjo. While the sound does indeed hearken back to an early 19th-century banjo, the workmanship and playability are rooted firmly in the modern day.

Every instrument is thoroughly checked and set up before shipping fully insured via UPS with tracking to your door. We reuse boxes and materials to cut waste when they meet our protection standard.
Inspect it, play it, and if it isn't right, contact us within 48 hours of delivery to arrange a return or one-time exchange. Returns are subject to a 5% restocking fee, and the buyer covers shipping both ways.
