It's been a couple years since we had one of Lauren't Brondel's traditional flattops in inventory; and we were happy to have the chance to snag this "21," a true one-of-one designed by the builder himself.
In keeping with tradition, the "21" is (essentially) a rosewood guitar with a mahogany guitar's styling: tortoiseshell binding, simple wood fiber top purfling, and simple dot inlays. For this guitar, Brondel chose Pau Ferro back and sides and a Carpathian Spruce top. The voice is reminiscent of something from the 1940's ~ crystal clear, with the notable darkness rosewood typically gives a guitar's low midrange. There is ample power available to a flatpicker who wants it, but this is an OM and invites a certain delicacy of attack. The response is fast an easy, the overtones plentiful -- it's a guitar with a smooth feel and cavernous sound that make it a perfect playing partner for hours on end.
This guitar is priced with a new vintage-style hardshell case from "The Original Case Company."

Inspect it, play it, and if it isn't right, contact us within 48 hours of delivery to arrange a return or one-time exchange. Returns are subject to a 5% restocking fee, and the buyer covers shipping both ways.
