We're excited to offer this 50th Anniversary version of one of Santa Cruz's most iconic models. This limited edition guitar, complete with custom 50th heel cap, was built to commemorate Santa Cruz's 50th(!) year of building some of the best acoustic guitars available.Santa Cruz first introduced the 1929 Model back in the early 2000s as an homage to the great all-mahogany models Martin put out during the Depression era. And like those pre-War Martins, the 1929 was simply appointed and wonderful sounding. Many years later, they are a mainstay of Santa Cruz's lineup and one of their most popular guitars. This guitar is a warm sounding, responsive, and - most importantly -simply fun to play. It's very lively, with an open voice and the darker, direct woodiness for which these instruments are prized.
In addition to being a great choice for anyone looking for a limited version of this perennial favorite, this guitar also represents an incredible value as it's offered for a bit less than the standard going rate for a Santa Cruz guitar.
