Product information

1981 Gibson Les Paul Custom in original Alpine White finish just into the shop on consignment! This is a lovely sounding and playing example of the classic Custom "in the white". It's a two-owner instrument, with very little to show in the way of play wear.

Featuring its original pair of Patent # humbuckers, it provides a great balance of clarity and definition, with a strong fundamental attack that comes in handy through a cranked amp. An obvious choice for rock, it sounds equally great into a clean amp like a Deluxe Reverb.

The neck is reminiscent of Gibson's mid 60s neck carve, starting out as a slimmer C shape and filling out to more of a late 50s profile with a chunky taper. The original frets show some light play wear, but playability remains great.

Paired with its original Protector case.
