Product information

This clean 1963 Martin 0-16NY was just brought to us by its longtime owner. The "New Yorker" Martins from the early 1960's make excellent first vintage guitars for those who are thinking about wading into that water: they're made in Martin's original factory, lightly braced, built with hide glue, and feature 12-fret-to-the-body construction. In short? They've got the warm, open tone that can only be found in vintage guitars, and their price point is seriously attractive.

This 0-16NY (serial number 193136) remains in very good overall condition. It's had a well-executed neck reset, and still sets up well (with plenty of saddle remaining for future action adjustments). The original nut has been replaced as well. Our shop has freshened the setup, and pronounced it ready to go for its next owner. Priced with a Martin Geib-style hard case.
