Product information

"There's something about a smaller-bodied acoustic guitar that has always appealed to me. In one glance it inspires me to write, travel, perform and age along with it." ~ John Mayer

Martin's relationship with John Mayer goes back almost 20 years when they released the first limited edition OM-28JM in 2003. The overwhelming success of that model led to the creation of the more affordable OMJM Special Edition and it's been a mainstay of the Martin collection for several years.

Essentially an OM-28 built on their Hybrid X Scalloped brace platform with an Englemann spruce, the OMJM has a snappier, quicker response than a stock OM-28. It's also voiced to respond well with Martin's Gold Plus electronics system.
