With the classic British fullness and depth we love in those 50 and 100 watt designs, the BTR23 brings modern flexibility and function alongside vintage-inspired tonality for a powerful "small box" amplifier.

We're longtime fans of Divided by 13 here at TME. A few of us on staff have toured and recorded with these beloved boutique amps dating back to some of the earliest days of the brand. Now with the new ownership of Eli Lester and Mac Skinner (Two-Rock) bringing these amps into the fold, their legacy and status in the guitar world will continue to grow. We're thrilled to represent these modern classics!

The UK has churned out an impressive stable of unique amp designs, each as distinctive as the bands that have used them to great effect. One stellar example is recognized for its distinct “chime”, organic overtones and compression when pushed into overdrive at higher volumes. Another classic is the renowned 50 and 100 watt heads that defined the sound of the ’60s, delivering unmatched midrange punch, throaty drive, and deep low-end when paired with the 4×12 cabinets that often accompanied them on stage. Rounding out this British trifecta is a KT88-equipped beast, synonymous with immense volume and a fast, percussive attack, providing vast output that imparts minimal tonal coloration.

Drawing from the legacy of these iconic amplifiers, the BTR 23 offers a unique hybrid voicing that merges the finest qualities of each design. Its dedicated treble, mid, and bass controls, along with a specialized pull-boost circuit, allow you to shape the tonal character and overdrive response of each classic model while blending elements of the others to create the ideal tone. Powered by a pair of KT88 tubes for robust output, the amp’s versatile master volume ensures a full range of saturated textures can be achieved, regardless of volume.
