Spec'ed to mimic an old refinished Goldtop, this City Limits combines the sweet and sizzly Throbak 52/54 P90s and a wraparound bridge for ultra-refined mid 50s LP vibe and tone.
Beautiful preowned Collings City Limits just in, with a unique combination of Throbak 52/54 P90s and a MojoAxe wraparound bridge to approximate more of a mid 50s LP tone and response. The Faded Cherry, black plastics, and reflector knobs scream vintage hot mod, while the upgraded parallelogram inlays and the highly figured Maple top add a little touch of sophistication that these impeccably made guitars exude.This guitar is incredibly lightweight, comfortable and resonant - it's amazing just how consistent Collings is with getting the weight dialed in from guitar to guitar. Finish and setup are spot on as well.
We sold this guitar new, and it's back here in the shop in excellent condition. There are some light pick scratches on the pickguard, and a few small marks from contact/handling, but it's very clean overall.
