Product information

Collings' flagship A model and a perennial favorite here.

It is hard to imagine a better-built mandolin anywhere in this price range than the Collings MT2. There is something magical about a well crafted A that make them hard to pass up. As always, Collings is using superb materials on these instruments—flamed maple back, select aged Adirondack spruce tops with tone-bar bracing, all carved to exacting standards. Even the adjustable ebony bridges are crafted at the Collings shop, as is the tailpiece—Bill's own original design.

Three-dimensional tone with exceptional power, single-note body, and cutting clarity. A dynamic mandolin with exceptional sound and professionial playability right out of the gate.
