The Collings MT. Don't let its austere look fool you: pound-for-pound, this may be the mandolinosphere's most musical instrument
The Collings MT makes a fabulous upgrade into the world of professional-caliber mandolins, and this is a particularly lovely looking (and sounding) example, with gorgeous figured maple back and sides, tortoise top binding and, of course, the craftsmanship, tone and playability that has made the MT a staple in our mandolin lineup since its inception. The wider nut featured on this mandolin is one of our most frequently requested options. Whether you're already used to the feel of a wide nut mandolin, coming to mandolin from guitar, or simply looking for a little more fretboard real estate, this is a great sounding and exceedingly comfortable instrument to play.
It's been a little while since we've had a brand new Collings MT in the shop, and the wide nut variants tend to be fewer and further between, so be sure to grab this one if you've been on the lookout! Priced with TKL hard case.
Condition: Brand New. Fully inspected and set up by TME staff before it ships or leaves the showroom.
