The Collings 71 M is a stunning evolution of their offset design language that pushes well beyond the foundation laid by their 360 model. It’s sleek, balanced, and already a shop favorite for good reason.

The solid ash body is deeply contoured with a tight waist and flared cutaways that feel ergonomic and comfortable. The neck joins at the 19th fret, offering SG-style access to upper registers while maintaining the resonance and stability of a set-neck. A smooth heel carve makes transitions feel natural and unrestricted.

The 71 M also debuts Collings’ first-ever 6-in-line headstock, which is beautifully proportioned and adds a fresh, modern edge to the silhouette. The moderate V neck carve - inspired by well-loved mid-’50s Fender profiles - feels broken-in from the start, offering a tactile, responsive playing experience that’s entirely new for Collings fans. Tone comes courtesy of a custom-matched Lollar pickup set:
