Product information

Franklin Guitars, handmade by luthier, Nick Kukich, rank among the world's finest replicas of early 20th century flattops. They're rarely available on the secondary market. And although it's been a while since we've seen one, this 2008 OM is a terrific reminder of their power and depth. Built with Brazilian Rosewood and German Spruce, this guitar's voice is simply gorgeous--dry enough to fool a blindfolded player into thinking they're playing an old Martin, yet sweet and shimmery at the same time. It's a perfect choice if you're in the market for a handmade OM with the responsiveness and hollow sound of something old alongside the playability and sparkle of something new.

We rate this guitar in very good overall condition for a pre-owned instrument. There are a few minuscule dings on the top near the sound hole, but you'll have to look closely in reflected light to see them. Our shop has inspected the entire guitar's structure for strength and stability, and given it a fresh setup. The action sits at 3/32" (bass side) and 2/32" (treble side) under tension of light gauge strings. Priced with TKL hardshell case.
