Novo comes out swinging with the Serus J Baritone - a fantastic new addition to their already beloved Serus J lineup.
With its 28" scale, the Serus J Baritone expands your range without feeling like a drastic departure from the familiar 25.5" Serus J. It retains everything we love about the model - Mastery trem, ultra-comfy offset body, and that instantly playable Novo neck profile that keeps us coming back.This stunning "Wrapped in Grey" finish example features Lollar Mini-Broilers, which pair beautifully with the tempered pine body, tempered maple neck, and rosewood fingerboard. The result is a punchy, harmonically rich tone that blends top-end clarity, warm mids, and a taut low end.
Clean tones ring out with articulation across a range of amps, while overdriven tones take on a gritty, lo-fi growl - dynamic and full of texture - with a bit more reach thanks to the longer scale.
As for feel? The Serus J Baritone is as comfortable and responsive as they come. Lively unplugged, with a medium C neck that feels naturally broken-in, and a body that sits just right - cowboy chords feel easy, and high-register work is effortless. Yes, please.
