Martin Custom Shop 000 42-Style Authentic Guatemalan Rosewood (USED, 2023)
Used
We personally selected the most beautifully figured sets of Guatemalan Rosewood we could find last time we visited the Martin factory -- one of which was used to make this style-42 000 model. The beauty of this material suggested a top-of-the-line instrument; and we chose style-42 trim alongside full "Authentic" build features. As with Martin's 000-28 Custom Authentic, we've used a modified V neck profile outfitted with an adjustable truss rod in the name of flexibility. But as far as sound goes? This is as deep, dark, and rich as a modern Martin 000 gets. Plenty of sparkle and power alongside that woody response that characterizes the Authentic lineup (and the vintage guitars on which they're based).
While technically preowned, this guitar remains in excellent overall condition. The setup is unaltered from its original spec (and it's still great!); and the whole instrument has been thoroughly inspected by our techs. No significant wear or blemishes of any kind. Priced with its original hardshell case (a Harptone).
