The 1937-inspired 28-Style Custom Shop collection rewards players with the sonic superiority of Martin’s Authentic Series and the everyday practicality of a workhorse guitar.
Martin's Custom Shop D-28 1937 models are among the most dynamic, exciting dreadnought guitars to come out of Nazareth, PA in many years. These instruments easily rival similar offerings from even our favorite small-shop makers. Thanks to an Adirondack spruce top paired with premium East Indian rosewood, Authentic bracing pattern, and hide-glue construction throughout, the tone is powerful, with a uncommon, three-dimensional depth for a 28-style dread.
The neck tapers to a generous "V" in the upper reaches, contributing to the lengthy sustain, and completing the pre-war feel of a stellar, modern-classic dread.
Please note: video shows a previously sold example of this model.
