Ellis F5 Special w/ Calton (USED, 2023)
Used
Lauded for their exceptional craftsmanship and inspiring tone, Ellis makes one of the most desirable F5 models in the world.
They don't come through much cleaner, or better looking, than this, folks. We are happy to host this treat of a pristine Ellis F5 Special, made with some of the nicest looking flamed maple we've seen in quite some time. Looks aside, what a great sounding mandolin! The tone leans slightly modern, with a full bass, lightly rounded trebles and a rich, warm midrange. Single notes ring out with a plump, satisfying fullness, and the chop is all there. Contemporary bluegrass mandolinists will have a lot to love here, but frankly, this mandolin will excel no matter the style.Priced with Calton case.
