Dudenbostel F5 (2003)

$19,700.00

Great sounding and very powerful F5 mandolin (SN 27) from Tennessee's Lynn Dudenbostel, built in 2003. This mandolin was featured on an episode of DIY Network's "Handmade Music," which documented Mr. Dudenbostel's process as a builder of fine musical instruments. One-piece, highly figured Birdseye Maple back, Birdseye Maple back, sides and neck, carved Swiss Alpine Spruce top, Virzi tone producer, blonde varnish finish, Waverly tuners, fossilized ivory nut and ebony pickguard. This is a complex sounding and extremely powerful mandolin, due in no small part to the hard Birdseye back. Brilliant midrange and high end -- a great mandolin for playing fiddle tunes! Included with the instrument is a binder including photos from the TV production and letters from Mr. Dudenbostel. Priced with molded hard case.
