Why We Love This

What a fun instrument! It only takes but a few notes played on this lovely 10-string bandolim to conjure visions of "Noites Cariocas." We don't often stock bandolim in the store, but this Zabotto is giving us pause. The tone has that magical mix of full, plump single note roundness with a healthy dose of bright, forward pop.

Choro students and pros, of course, will love this bandolim, but this instrument would work well for Celtic applications. For would-be mandola experimenters, this will do more than satisfy that lust for a low C. A K&K installed, ready for the festival stage!

Setup in house with a bone bridge, with an alternate rosewood bridge in the case.
