An incredibly versatile guitar, cedar ensures the responsiveness and delicacy needed for fingerstyle, while rosewood and Lowden's larger O body style deliver the power required for flatpicking and strumming. The -25 models are part of Lowden's Original Series, and feature understated wood bindings and rosette. Based on the serial number, we estimate that this guitar dates back to 2004-2005. There is some finish checking (see photos), and there are a few dings and scratches from years of heavy playing. But the sound and set-up are great, and it has a passive pickup and strap pin already installed, making it a fantastic gig-ready guitar for anyone interested in a player-grade Lowden!
