The Hofner Violin Bass (also known as the 500/1 model in some instances) is about as recognizable an instrument as it gets. Its comfortable short-scale neck and lightweight hollowbody design provide round, warm tone with full acoustic response.

Built in February 2014, this Gold Label Violin Bass represents the classic early 60s version in a stealthy Black finish. The staple pickups have wonderful output with great dynamic response and have long been a favorite pickup choice in this style.

Condition: Very Good+. Light to moderate play wear throughout. Light surface scratches and scuffs on the back of the body, light pick scratches on the top, light patina on the hardware. The neck pickup mounting ring has a small crack/split at one of the side mounting screws, but does not affect pickup function or stability.
