This 1965 Gibson J-45 is an exceptionally good sounding example of a mid-60's slope shoulder dread -- as chunky, warm, and full-sounding as you'll find. This guitar is all-original (with the exception of a new bridge and saddle), crack free, and carries the preferable 1 11/16" nut width (this is a transitional year for that feature, and later models from 1965 will have a thinner neck). Eminently playable up and down the neck, and in need of no setup work at all. Overall condition is "vintage excellent," which is to say the structure is original, crack free, and solid as a rock, though you'll certainly find the expected finish checking and playwear when you examine the guitar's surfaces.
