We're thrilled to have a Mark Campellone thinline archtop in the shop! Mark makes exceptional guitars and is considered by many to be one of the best makers around - on par with the greats of the last century.

You're immediately struck by the quality of Mark's builds the moment you pick up this guitar. Gorgeous woods are coupled with excellent finish work, fretwork, and setup. The low action and slightly chunky neck carve make the fastest jazz runs and/or tricky chord work feel effortless. The thinner body of this gorgeous 16" Standard ads significantly to its comfortable playability.

Acoustically, this guitar has a very lively, balanced tone with loads of sustain and punch. This is a very "alive" feeling instrument (as are all of Mark's guitars that we've had). Plugged in, the floating mini-humbucker delivers fat, warm yet always articulate tones that remind us a bit of Jim Hall's tone (though you're certainly not locked into that sound - plenty of other tones are on tap here).

Condition: Excellent, save for 2 or three indentations on the body (one on the top - see pics on the bass side upper horn), light wear on the headstock, a few random finish checks (main one on the treble side F-hole), and some light fret wear.

Anyone in the market for a high-quality archtop would be well served to consider a Campellone guitar - the quality far exceeds the price of entry! Priced with hardshell case.
