Super player-friendly, short-scale neck and grand voice on this Celtic octave mandolin.
Why We Love This
British Columbia-based Lawrence Nyberg calls this his "small-ish octave mandolin," but the sound is anything but. This is, in fact, a very resonant octave mandolin, the Engelmann spruce top paired to a lovely, dark Katalox back and sides. We don't often see fine Celtic-sytle octave mandolins with such an easy-playing scale length.
We are quite enamored of the sound and workmanship! This instrument comes to us in excellent overall condition, having had very little playing time to date.
