Our latest batch of creations from the Martin Custom Shop includes this 000-12 fret in timeless style-28 appointments. Our inspiration here was the dearly departed 000-28VS. We always loved the Vintage Series for its light build, easy response, and open sound -- but truth be told, we wouldn't choose the super-wide neck for everyday playing. So for this guitar, we chose Martin's modified low oval neck shape, and 1 3/4" nut width, while retaining the classic slotted peghead. The soundboard is Italian Spruce, which gives this guitar a richness and tonal complexity that edges out the old VS models as well. Priced with hardshell case from Martin.
