Famously referred to the "Golden Box", the Klemt NG51 Echolette offers an incredibly rich and powerful tube preamp with classic analog tape echo effect.

The Klemt NG51 Echolette has long lived in the shadows of Maestro's Echoplex and Binson's echo unit, but we're here to say that it needs its time in the spotlight.

While somewhat similar in circuitry to those aforementioned tape echo units, Klemt set itself apart in the NG51 with a preamp that offers up some of the most harmonically rich and unique overdriven tones we've ever heard. On top of that, the multi-head tape echo side of the circuit features additional flexibility with mix and EQ controls.

This unit had been previously serviced by one of the most prominent audio techs in Germany, Bobby Staedel. Subsequently after making its way to the states, it passed through Stan Day's shop, where the unit was cleaned and recapped. Stan also fabricated fresh tape for the unit. It is now sounding and working superb!
