The Gretsch 6120 needs no introduction. The most recognized and popular of all Gretsch models, players like Brian Setzer, Chet Atkins, and of course, Duane Eddy, have all used the 6120. Nuff said!

This 1998 Duane Eddy Signature pays tribute to Duane's personal 1957 6120. It's hard to deny the classic beauty of this guitar - if you're into Rockabilly, this is a must have - though it can certainly cover more ground as evidenced by all the players who've used one over the years.

The pickups have been upgraded to TV Jones, the wiring harness has been upgraded, and the bridge was swapped out as well (the original parts are included). Plugged in, it's easy to see why these guitars are legendary, especially with the TV Jones pickups installed. Chime, bite, percussive attack...it's that classic early rock, Rockabilly, Chet tone and it's incredibly inspiring and rewarding. Even playing it acoustically is fun - it's quite loud, negating the need for an amp for late night practice or when you get a idea you want to work out but don't want to plug in.

Condition: For a 24 year old guitar, it's in excellent condition. Light surface marks and the occasional indentation are present on the body along w/the expected light tarnishing of the gold hardware. The frets show wear but are still in good condition. The setup feels great.

This is a great example of a classic model from Gretsch! Priced with hardshell case and original parts.
