Gil Yaron has proven time and time again that he has a knack for building guitars that embody everything we love about standout vintage electrics, all while elevating the build quality and digging into the deepest of details to deliver an heirloom-quality instrument.

This Bone 59 Black PT (PT being short for Pete Thorn, who owns the very first Black Bone 59), is Gil's interpretation of that infamous '59 single cut. The sleek two-tone aesthetic of the gloss nitro top and "zero finish" body combined with the all nickel hardware give this Bone 59 a classy, slightly understated look that flips the traditional concept of the Les Paul and gives it its own vibe altogether.

This Bone is constructed with some of the best tonewoods available - Brazilian Rosewood fingerboard, private stock reclaimed Maple top, and an old growth Mahogany body. Combined with Gil's handwound PAF style pickups, the tone and feel is up there with some of the most iconic solidbodies of the 50s and 60s. The pickups are open articulate, and dynamic, with single-coil like response and presence. Gained up, all that midrange punch is there, with a distinct clarity and no upper mid fatigue. When executed this well, a PAF style pickup is a gleaming reminder of why people go nuts for these pickups. Gil certainly has his finger on the pulse of that tone!

For those that have had the chance to play a Yaron - this one ticks those familiar boxes. For anyone who hasn't - this Bone 59 is a worthy contender for someone looking to make that jump into a top-tier electric that outshines many in its class.

Condition: Very Good+. Light signs of prior ownership, mainly on the back of the body (some light handling wear and worming on the body), a couple of very small surface dings near the controls. Frets are very clean with little to no wear.

Priced with original Gator hardshell case.
